Carrots packaging line

No crisps but carrots as a snack. In Denmark a big hit, and there was a need for an automated packing system.
Crea-Tech has developed for the company Denfood a packaging line where carrots are weighed in a carrier then  to get packed in  a bag and then closed by a clip with printed date.

The complete line is designed for 2000 bags of 250 grams per hour and works as follows: The carrots are cleaned and fall on a conveyor belt system then they go round to a workstation that needs them. If a workplace is likely to become empty, the carrots slide at a workplace located. This workplace is atomically feeded with carriers, where a worker selects the carrots on length and filled the carriers. The carrier is on a weighing device so it can be read or 250 grams of carrots in the carrier. If there is enough,  the carrier goes towards the bagging machine. The machine puts them into a bag, and the the bag goes towards a clip machine, the end result: a bag filled with 250g carrots, with a great labour reduction.

The entire line is made out of stainless steel.
