Company Profile;

Floricultura is a family business since 1933 and specializes in orchids.
After the introduction of tissue culture, the company also own the propagation, breeding and selection of orchids taken in hand. Besides the Dutch market where millions of pot orchids are sold, they also specialize in the worldwide export of plant material.

Purpose of Project;

: Potting and sorting of orchids.

Work-out:

After the plants are potted, they are controlled by a camera. This includes a turning mechanism so the camera has a good picture of the plant . After the camera unit is a small turning unit that makes the blade rotate in the right direction. This is done to the plant in the most convenient way to put into the container. Then the sorted plants move to the camera chosen robot in 2 grades . The robot placets the plants in the container.
