The CreaSpacer is a specially developed tray, which ensures that plants can be spaced wider without damaging them. It also provides an enormous labour saving. The TraySpacer is ideally suited for herbs and lettuce.
The TraySpacer was originally developed to widen basil plants without causing damage during cultivation. Pots are placed in the specially designed tray and automatically spaced after the initial growth phase, giving each plant the room it needs to develop uniformly.
After the first growth stage, the crop remains in the tray until it reaches its final phase. Before harvesting, the product is mechanically removed from the tray using a cutting machine.Once emptied, the tray is tilted to release the remaining soil. It is then thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in a washing unit, making it immediately ready for reuse.
The TraySpacer system is designed for efficient handling, optimal plant development, and a fully reusable cultivation process.
The TraySpacer
The TraySpacer was initially developed to spread basil plants without damaging them. Pots are placed in the specially developed tray, which are then widened after the first growth phase. The tray also has a variant that has been modified so that soil and seed can be placed directly into the tray. After the first growth phase, the tray is pulled out and the product can grow to the final phase, after which the tray is removed from the crop under a cutting machine. Then the soil is pressed out of the tray with a tilting mechanism, after which the tray is cleaned and disinfected by a washer, and it is ready for re-use. The squeezed out soil is steamed and provided with new bacteria, so that this can also be reused.
