TRIPLE TRAY FILLING LINE
Roma nova Netherlands
Roma nova produces about 5.5 million pots between November and Easter. The main part consists of 9 and 12 centimeter pots. Issue here was to create an organized workplace where work can be done easily and in a structured way, to achieve labour savings. Three lines have been chosen in this project: a line for 9cm pots, 12cm pots and a handline for both sizes and specials.
The pots are labeled and placed in trays in one go. Empty crates are transported, cleaned and sorted. The creation of structured workstations provide a pleasant workplace with higher output and make the next step in automation clear and accessible.
